Norm and Douglas are the only remaining charter members of the VJB (since 1982), but almost all of the current band have been playing together for fifteen years. Most of us are Montgomery County, MD residents, while two members live in Northern Virginia.

Longtime trombonist Walt Frasier has retired from the VJB to pursue other interests. Best wishes, Walt. And welcome to our new trombonist, Josh Frayer.
January, 2012 marks Norm's tenth year as leader of the VJB.
